Create Your Own Folders to
copy or paste images to:
In this example I will
be using Lettering Delights Alphabets
these are alphabets I
have purchased and downloaded, and installed on my computer.
They are located in my
LD Supreme Browser folder following the path:
C\Program Files\LD Supreme\Alphabets\Color
off the Color folder are
the individual folders of each "Alphabet", inside each Alphabet folder
are the individual graphic images of the "letters, numbers and symbols"
of the named Alphabet.
I access the individual
alphabets and open them, then from the Edit menu, I "Select All", then
Copy, and Copy them to a Folder I have created off the Painted folder within
my HugBug Deluxe Browser - I follow the path when browsing for these particular
folders for my Alphabets -
C:\PC HugWare\Collections\Images\Painted
off the Painted Folder
I create a new folder named for the Alphabet
This is what my Color
Folder within the LD Supreme\Alphabets\ folder
looks like - these are
the individual folders of each alphabet
Note: It
might not be wise to Drag - alphabet images from their folder locations,
as
I mentioned in above
graphic. If you move them from their original location, they
will not be available
when using the Alphabets in the LD Supreme Browser.
I copy the images to a
folder or if I have the folder already open I can just "paste"
them.
I can copy and/or paste
the images to the Folder I created off the
Painted folder
The images are now available
via the Browser, and in the
listing of other folders
I have created, the Browser automatically
puts all the Creatables
and/or folders I create and name in
alphabetical order -
I named this alphabet TeaParty Alpha
because I already had
a Hugware Creatable collection the same name
as the Lettering Delights
alphabet - the creatable TeaParty by Carol Halm .
This is example using
the Beast Alphabet
I selected and copied
all images - and using the Copy the selected items,
browsed to the Location
C:\PC Hugware\Collections\Images\Painted\Beast
Alphabet
Now those graphics are
available via the Browser, to use in any software application
or to print out thumbnails
of the images etc.
Another example -
putting Other Alphabets
(not from Lettering Delights) in my Browser
I downloaded an Alphabet
"Twigdancer" from -
http://www.chank.com/freefont_detail.php?sku=1086
it was downloaded as
a Zip file (the Zip file contains a Jpgs folder and the True Type Font
-
the font should be installed
to your windows font folder),
I unzipped the file,
which contained the Alphabet folder, which had
the individual graphics
or jpgs of each letter, and copied them to a folder
I created off the Painted
Folder
The Twigdancer alphabet
letters are now available via the Browser
ADDING
FOLDERS TO "MY FAVORITES"
Another option for accessing
folders on your computer, without creating ones off your Painted folder
- is to use the Feature of the Browser - My Favorites
For this example - I
used the Beast Alphabet again
I Copied the entire "Beast
Alphabet" folder from the LD Supreme\Alphabets\Color\Beast
to my D drive - on my
Computer.
Then I opened my Hugbug
Deluxe Browser, and went to My Computer,
and from there browsed
the various drives I have, and found the D drive,
and the Beast Alphabet
folder and "right" mouse clicked on it, and the message
came up: Add to Favorites.
That folder is automatically added to My Favorites in
my Deluxe Browser
And now the Beast Alphabet
is accessible via My Favorites
Note: I have other Artist
collections and/or Graphic collections in folders on
my Deluxe Browser - for
organizational purposes. I like having my graphics
accessible from "One"
spot when working in my graphic software programs.
This is a screen shot
showing just some of the folders I have created off the Painted folder
in the Hugbug Deluxe Browser -
Example: I own the 3
Debbie Mumm Seasonal Clipart
CDs and I have created separate folders in the Browser for those graphics,
that I obtained off the CDs.
